You want to see Moose?

It seems that if you are a visitor and want to see one of Canada's largest wild animals, just go to the east end of Ottawa.

In the last few weeks three moose have been spotted wandering around the suburbs of Ottawa.

Not to be taken lightly, however. Anytime you have 1,000 + pounds of wild animal in a suburban environment, people could be hurt.

In these three encounters, unfortunately, circumstances forced the Ottawa Police force to kill two of these creatures.

On another front, there have been moose hunters in Canada that have never been successful in harvesting a moose. Maybe Ottawa should open a season on them?
