It’s a bit historical, a bit futuristic, and last time I was there they had some neat “hands-on” displays.

Canadian Museum of Civilization

That architecturally breathtaking building houses the Museum of Civilization.

Museum of Nature

Take a walk on the wild side and visit Ottawa’s Museum of Nature.

Canadian War Museum

The structure is dramatic, built to resemble a bunker, perhaps similar to one of those overlooking a beach in France in WWII.
There are “package ticket deals” for folks visiting the War Museum and the Museum of Civilization, and like many Ottawa attractions, the War Museum is opened one evening during the week at no cost to visitors. Here’s where you get more information on the Canadian War Museum.
