I was sitting at my computer working on updating and adding new pages to All About Ottawa when it occurred to me how difficult it is sometimes when you visit a major city that you have never been to before.

When my wife and I visited Sao Paulo some years back, I do recall the disorientation and feeling of helplessness when we exited the aircraft. We really didn't know where to start to try to get to our final destination on that trip.
