Not so wild duck at the Tulip Festival

"Wild Duck" at Tulip Festival

As I was enjoying the bed-after-bed of tulips at Commissioners Park, there was a male and female mallard duck on the lawn near one of the beds.

These are wild ducks. Yet, when I stopped to watch them, both immediately started walking over towards me and I snapped this shot of the male, as he was closest.

I guess they are used to the visitors to the park giving them a tidbit or two as they wander by.

Not a tulip, no, but just another flower to see at the Canadian Tulip Festival in Ottawa.
