Hello where would you find salamanders in ottawa what specific place in ottawa would you find them in ?

i want to know where to find salamanders _________________ Bill says... Well Meech, it sounds like there is a science project going on in Ottawa!! :-) Since I don't know whether your house has a big backyard garden or not, I can only suggest that I have found many salamanders (actually, I think they are Newts) by carefully turning over rocks and looking at the ground underneath. They may be right on the surface, or they many be slightly buried in the cool earth. Sometimes I've found them by turning over boards that have lain on the ground for a long time.
